SPCA of Texas Celebrates Valentine’s Day with Crafts for Kids

Workshop Registration Open Now

WHAT: The SPCA of Texas is offering a chance for your children to come and show the organization’s animals some extra love at both shelters in Dallas and McKinney on Saturday, January 24 from 1 - 3 p.m. In addition to crafting Valentine’s Day hearts for our animals to be displayed in their kennel areas, kiddos will also have the chance to:

  • Give the animals some extra love by making toys for them to play with
  • Make cat boxes for cat enrichment
  • Help animals shine by decorating e-collars
  • See SPCA of Texas employees work behind the scenes with a guided tour

Valentine's Day workshop is best suited for children between the ages of 8-11 or 4-7 with parental assistance.

Registration is open and will end when the workshops are full. Workshops fill up quickly, so be sure to register online at today.

"I'm absolutely in LOVE with Kitty (formerly Kaleigh). I know her name isn't original at all but I just started calling her that until I could think of a name and it just stuck - it's so her! I've attached two photos - she's seriously the most beautiful kitty in the world! She loves to steal tennis balls and bones from her dog sister - she thinks she's a dog!
