Giving Tuesday 2018

Tuesday, November 27, 2018 12:00 AM - 11:59 PM

The SPCA of Texas invites the North Texas community to support the animals on #GivingTuesday through donations to help the organization rescue, heal and find homes for more than 35,000 animals each year. It takes about $800 to care for each animal that comes through our doors. Whether it's $10 or $200, every dollar makes a difference in an animal’s life. During last year's #GivingTuesday, 946 gifts were made to the SPCA of Texas, helping the organization raise over $85,000. This year, our goal is $100,000. Hitting that goal means we can provide care for 125 animals.

This year the SPCA of Texas is partnering with Northern Trust to help even more animals.

"I'm absolutely in LOVE with Kitty (formerly Kaleigh). I know her name isn't original at all but I just started calling her that until I could think of a name and it just stuck - it's so her! I've attached two photos - she's seriously the most beautiful kitty in the world! She loves to steal tennis balls and bones from her dog sister - she thinks she's a dog! She enjoys going for walks and car rides, snuggling with mom, bird watching, drinking from the sink, playing with her pipe cleaners and getting into mom's makeup in the mornings. I couldn't 'imagine life without her. She's the absolute best!"
