SPCA of Texas' Summer Critter Camp 2019

SPCA of Texas Critter Camp 2019 registration will open soon! SPCA of Texas Critter Camp is a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about important values such as kindness and love. Critter Camp also provides the perfect setting for your child to learn more about appropriate animal care during their summer break.

Activities include guest speakers and games as well as opportunities to learn more about the SPCA of Texas and issues in animal welfare. We create an educational fun environment for our campers! Weekly Activities at Critter Camp:

• Play with dogs indoors and outside and hang out with the cats in the Cat Condos to provide extra TLC

• Read to dogs and cats

• Learn from our Animal Cruelty Investigations Unit how campers can help spot and report animal abuse

• Make treats for the shelter dogs

• Create fun crafts for the animals, including toys for dogs and cats

• See a Spay/Neuter surgery (Optional)

• Plus, enjoy awesome games, crafts, activities, team building and so much more!

Critter Camp sessions are for children between the ages of 8-11. Each weekly session takes from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. We do not offer refunds at this time. Our Summer weekly camp is $295 this includes an SPCA of Texas Critter Camp shirt. Extras can be purchased during registration.

Love Puppies & Kittens?

Cuddle puppies and kittens, dote on dogs and cats, provide post-operative care for canines and felines and teach four-legged foster friends what snuggling is all about.

"I'm absolutely in LOVE with Kitty (formerly Kaleigh). I know her name isn't original at all but I just started calling her that until I could think of a name and it just stuck - it's so her! I've attached two photos - she's seriously the most beautiful kitty in the world! She loves to steal tennis balls and bones from her dog sister - she thinks she's a dog! She enjoys going for walks and car rides, snuggling with mom, bird watching, drinking from the sink, playing with her pipe cleaners and getting into mom's makeup in the mornings. I couldn't 'imagine life without her. She's the absolute best!"
