SPCA of Texas "Takes A Bite" Out Of Adoption Prices In Celebration Of Shark Week 

 

WHAT: The SPCA of Texas "takes a bite" out of adoption prices in celebration of Shark Week. Swim on over to the Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in West Dallas and sink your teeth into receiving ½ off adoption fees when you adopt a dog or a cat from June 25th through July 3rd. People who adopt pets during the SPCA of Texas’ Shark Week promotion will also be entered into a drawing. Ten people will be selected to win a family-four-pack of single-day tickets to any of the Dallas/Fort Worth Hawaiian Falls Waterparks.


Regular adoption fees for dogs and puppies range from $50 to $250 and include a spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test for dogs six months and older, initial heartworm preventative for dogs, a microchip, a rabies tag, a free post-adoption health check-up within 14 days of adoption, 30 days of pet health insurance and a temporary leash.


Regular adoption fees for cats and kittens range from $50 to $125, and include age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming treatment, spay/neuter surgery, a rabies tag, a temporary pet tote made of heavy-duty cardboard, 30 days of free pet health insurance, a 14-day post-adoption wellness visit and a microchip. Cats over 4 months of age are also given feline Leukemia and FIV tests.
