Tomorrow: Support the SPCA of Texas on North Texas Giving Day

WHAT: Get ready to give! The SPCA of Texas is pleased to take part in the 11th annual North Texas Giving Day tomorrow, September 19, 2019! Every year, the people of North Texas come together to help thousands of local non-profits, including the SPCA of Texas. On that day, gifts made through the SPCA of Texas' profile page on the North Texas Giving Day website will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000, thanks to a generous gift provided by an anonymous donor. Gifts will also be amplified by bonus funds and prizes between 6 a.m. and midnight, for an 18 hour online giving extravaganza!

Our donors' generosity makes it possible for us to rescue, heal and find homes for thousands of animals each year. It takes about $800 to care for each of the animals that come through our doors. By donating, people give us the ability to say yes to do whatever it takes to save an animal's life. Whether it's $10 or $200, every dollar helps! Visit spca.org/givingday on North Texas Giving Day to make a donation.

During last year's North Texas Giving Day, 1,926 individuals made 1,956 gifts to the SPCA of Texas, and the organization raised $231,000 and earned a $75,000 match!

The community's support is truly inspiring, and gives us all renewed energy to live our mission: to provide every animal exceptional care and a loving home. North Texas Giving Day is not just a day. It's a movement that inspires and unites tens of thousands of donors across the world to support their favorite North Texas causes online through www.NorthTexasGivingDay.org.

"I'm absolutely in LOVE with Kitty (formerly Kaleigh). I know her name isn't original at all but I just started calling her that until I could think of a name and it just stuck - it's so her! I've attached two photos - she's seriously the most beautiful kitty in the world! She loves to steal tennis balls and bones from her dog sister - she thinks she's a dog! She enjoys going for walks and car rides, snuggling with mom, bird watching, drinking from the sink, playing with her pipe cleaners and getting into mom's makeup in the mornings. I couldn't 'imagine life without her. She's the absolute best!"
