The Stand Up For Pits Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to saving lives and ending the abuse and discrimination of Pit Bull-type dogs through live events, funds, education and advocacy. Their funding of this spay/neuter event has provided Pit Bull owners essential medical care and services to promote the safety and wellbeing of their Pit Bull and Pit Bull mix dogs.

“Having pets spayed and neutered is the most important way to prevent pet overpopulation and ensure that animals live happy, healthy lives in loving homes,” said James Bias, SPCA of Texas President and CEO. “We’re so proud to work with Duck Team 6 and the Stand Up For Pits Foundation to offer these free surgeries, vaccines and microchips.”

While the event has concluded, the SPCA of Texas continues to offer low-cost spay/neuter, vaccinations and microchipping to pets at three clinic locations and two mobile clinics, all located in Dallas and Collin Counties.

"I'm absolutely in LOVE with Kitty (formerly Kaleigh). I know her name isn't original at all but I just started calling her that until I could think of a name and it just stuck - it's so her! I've attached two photos - she's seriously the most beautiful kitty in the world! She loves to steal tennis balls and bones from her dog sister - she thinks she's a dog! She enjoys going for walks and car rides, snuggling with mom, bird watching, drinking from the sink, playing with her pipe cleaners and getting into mom's makeup in the mornings. I couldn't 'imagine life without her. She's the absolute best!"
