Celebrate 100 Days of Summer at the SPCA of Texas!

$25 Dog and Cat Adoptions From May 30th to September 3rd


WHAT:  The SPCA of Texas is celebrating 100 days of summer with $25 dog and cat adoptions! From May 30th to September 3rd, all dog (6 months and older), puppy (under 6 months), cat (6 months and older) and kitten (under 6 months) adoptions at the SPCA of Texas will be only $25. This adoption special will be offered for all pets (excluding small mammals and livestock) at all SPCA of Texas locations, including the Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in West Dallas, the Russell H. Perry Animal Care Center in McKinney, the SPCA of Texas' Mobile Adoptions Vehicle and all SPCA of Texas offsite PetSmart stores.

Regular adoption fees are $250 for puppies, $125 for adult dogs 6 months and older and kittens 0-6 months, $75 for adult cats 6 months and older, $50 for senior dogs and cats 7 years or older and VIP dogs and cats (available for adoption for 30 days or more). Fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test for dogs six months and older and a FIV/FeLV test for cats 4 months and older, initial flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative, a microchip, 30 days of free PetHealth Insurance provided by PetPlan, a free 14-day wellness exam with VCA Animal Hospitals, a free year-long subscription to Activ4Pets, a rabies tag and a free leash. 

When you adopt a shelter pet, you’ll save a life by giving your new pet a home plus open up space for another pet at the SPCA of Texas. With the joy and love a new pet brings, you'll change an animal's life as well as your own. Adoption hours at the Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas and the Russell H. Perry Animal Care Center in McKinney are noon to 6 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and noon to 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. I've attached two photos - she's seriously the most beautiful kitty in the world! She loves to steal tennis balls and bones from her dog sister - she thinks she's a dog! She enjoys going for walks and car rides, snuggling with mom, bird watching, drinking from the sink, playing with her pipe cleaners and getting into mom's makeup in the mornings. I couldn't 'imagine life without her. She's the absolute best!"
