The SPCA of Texas is proud to announce this Wednesday that it has completed renovations of the dog kennels, puppy room and single cat condos at its Russell H. Perry Animal Care Center. The celebration of this grand re-opening will take place at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the facility, located at 8411 Stacy Road in McKinney, Texas.

WHY: These much-needed renovations were made possible thanks to two generous grants. A grant of $260,791 from The Moody Foundation and a $25,000 grant from the Hillcrest Foundation. The facility’s upgrades, which began on February 29, include a total renovation of the dog kennels and puppy room, a replacement of the single cat condos on the adoption floor and the addition of a drainage system in the barn paddocks for recuperating livestock. The drainage system installation is still in progress.
