Let Love Leap into Your Lap! The SPCA of Texas Celebrates Leap Year with $29 Pet Adoptions

WHAT: To help adoptable pets leap into new homes before leap year day, the SPCA of Texas will be offering adoptions of adult dogs and cats (those one year and older) for only $29 from February 25 through 28 at the Russell H. Perry Animal Care Center.

WHERE:
Russell H. Perry Animal Care Center
8411 Stacy Road
McKinney, TX 75070

WHY: You’ll save a life by adopting a shelter pet because you’ll give your new pet a home and open up space for another pet at the SPCA of Texas. All pets at the SPCA of Texas are already spayed or neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, microchipped and have received medical and behavioral care so that they are healthy and happy. With the joy and love a new pet brings, you’ll change an animal’s life as well as your own!

"I'm absolutely in LOVE with Kitty (formerly Kaleigh). I know her name isn't original at all but I just started calling her that until I could think of a name and it just stuck - it's so her! I've attached two photos - she's seriously the most beautiful kitty in the world! She loves to steal tennis balls and bones from her dog sister - she thinks she's a dog! She enjoys going for walks and car rides, snuggling with mom, bird watching, drinking from the sink, playing with her pipe cleaners and getting into mom's makeup in the mornings. I couldn't 'imagine life without her. She's the absolute best!"
