What ages are appropriate for Critter Camp?
Ages 8-11 years old.
What is the camper to instructor ratio?
All of our camps maintain a 10:1 camper to instructor ratio.
Are the camp activities the same each week?
Yes, our camps follow the same activity schedules each week.
Will I need to provide a lunch and a snack for my child?
Yes, your child will need to bring a sack lunch and two snacks (one for the morning and one for afternoon).
Will my child need to wear specific clothing?
We ask that all of our campers wear long pants or knit pants and closed-toed shoes to camp, as they’ll be handling our animals.
Do you care for children before and after camp?
At this time, we do not currently have a program set up for before or after care.
How do I know if you still have room for my child on a particular week?
Please look to our registration form for information regarding whether there is still space for your child on any particular week.
Is payment due in full when I register?
Yes. After you select the week you’d like your child to attend, please follow the instructions to fully register your child for camp. The payment form is at the end of the process.
Are refunds available?
No.
Do I need to fill out all the questions on the registration form?
Yes, please complete all fields in the registration form. We’ll need this information to be sure to include your child in all the activities at camp.
Will my child be traveling in this camp?
No, we remain on our campus during each camp. Our featured speakers come to our classroom.
How soon do I need to register to reserve a spot for my child?
Our camps fill up very quickly. We recommend that you register as soon as possible! Once a camp fills up, that week will be marked as “Sold Out.”
Can I sign my child up for more than one week during the summer?
Yes! We have campers sign up for more than one week because even though each week has the same activities, each week is a different atmosphere of fun!
