Fighting Animal Cruelty

Investigating reports of animal cruelty is one of the toughest but one of the most vital parts of our mission. Our Rescue and Investigations team responds to more than 3,000 cases of cruelty each year in a variety of Texas counties, of which less than half of one percent are pursued with civil charges. Most are resolved through education and compliance.

Foster Heroes

SPCA of Texas is seeking Foster Heroes who are willing to open up their hearts and homes to an animal in need. By becoming a Foster Hero, you will be providing one animal with a comfortable, loving home while allowing another animal to take the foster’s place at the shelter.
