ABOUT DAPHNE: Hi, I'm Daphne. If I could have any career, it would probably be as a doggy model. Everyone oohs and ahhs over my gorgeous red coat, beautiful amber eyes, adorable pink nose, and stoic expression. I was rescued from a cruelty case in October of 2019 and was SO SHY at first, but have made great strides and make progress in little ways every day. We haven't had any issues with accidents inside and she gets along great with my dogs!" She also reported that I do well when left alone. LIKES: My favorite treats are canned chicken and hot dogs! I enjoy looking out the window and watching the world go by, but my favorite thing to do is play with other dogs.IDEAL HOME: I need a calm and quiet environment and require a home with a securely fenced yard. Walking on leash in the neighborhood still makes me nervous. Please bring everyone in the household to meet me. DOGS: Absolutely yes! Having another friendly dog in the home is a requirement. I get along with calm, independent dogs, but I really love playing with puppies. APPOINTMENT TYPE: Scheduled. I'm in a foster home, so please fill out an application to meet me!We also have Seniors for Seniors - If you are 65 or older and adopt a dog or cat over the age of 7 years, the adoption is free!
About Me: Hi! My name is Winston and my wish is to find my furever family and be your furever bestfriend! I'm a goofy guy who loves to lay in the sun, chew on antlers, and I'm always on squirrel patrol. After playing in the backyard with my foster sisters, I love nothing more than curling up on a warm blanket or next to you on the couch. I am a shy boy when I first meet new people, but once I warm up to you, I will want to play with you and for you to pet me all the time! I am house-trained and crate-trained. I just need a loving family to take a chance on me and with some patience they will soon see all the love I have to give them! Foster Testimonial: "When Winston first came into my home, he was very shy and timid. He would not walk on a leash or jump into my car, and would only leave his crate to go outside. But with patience and lots of treats, Winston has flourished into the sweetest dog with the most soulful eyes. Now he will spend nearly all day out of his crate and will seek out attention from me and play time from his foster sisters. He is better at walking on a leash and improving every day. He will jump into the car, and he is growing his confidence daily. He gets so excited when he sees someone he knows. He will get happy feet, wiggle his whole body, and run up to them and lean against their legs so they will pet him." LIKES: chewing on bones and deer antlers, laying in the sun, patrolling the yard for squirrels, playing with his foster sisters, warm blankets, being brushed, and lots of pets. KIDS: Since I am a shy boy, I would do best in a home with older children, 12+. DOGS: YES PLEASE! I would love another playful, confident doggy sibling, big or small. Please bring your dog to meet me! CATS: sure, my foster mom has 3 and I just ignore them.COPY/PASTE this URL to see more cute photos of me: https://bit.ly/2OHgdgrAPPOINTMENT TYPE: I am in a foster home so fill out an application to meet me!Current Special - Dogs over 6 months are only $25 to adopt!
Meet Kitten, the handsome senior cat with a serious love for food! Now, don't let his name fool you. Kitten may sound small and delicate, but he's a big boy with a big appetite. He's not picky either, he'll devour just about anything you put in front of him (as long as it's suitable for his diabetic diet, of course).Speaking of his diabetes, Kitten may need a little extra TLC in that department. But don't worry, he's a pro at taking his medication and monitoring his blood sugar levels- his friends at the SPCA will show you how easy his care is, so don't be intimidated! And when it comes to mealtime, he'll remind you with a cute little meow that it's time to chow down.We also have Seniors for Seniors - If you are 65 or older and adopt a dog or cat over the age of 7 years, the adoption is free!APPOINTMENT TYPE: Schedule - I am in a foster home so please fill out an application to meet me!
Hello, I'm Tanner Rose! Once upon a time, I was a magical guardian of the Whispering Woods. Oh, the adventures I had, romping through the mystical glades, solving riddles, and protecting forest critters. But one day, the woods vanished, and I found myself here. I'm sweet, funny, and smart, with a playful energy that belies my senior status. I'm independent, but I love a good cuddle and am fiercely loyal to those I love. I must confess, I prefer to be the only dog in the home. I'm eager to share my loyalty, love, and magical tales with a new family. Adopt me, and let's create our own enchanting story together.. Won't you take a Chance on me? I'm the goofiest and most lovable pup you'll ever meet. I'm always up for a run in the sun, especially if it involves my favorite stuffed toys, but when I've tired myself out, there's nothing I love more than curling up on my human friends' laps for some well-deserved cuddles. Who says I'm too big to be a lap dog?! I am a staff and volunteer favorite!FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "Chance is a great dog! He is house-trained and quiet in his crate when we need him to go there. He takes his medications easily. and takes treats nicely. If we are up for a game, he is too. If we're feeling lazy and want to hang out and watch movies and cuddle, he's ready to pull out the blankets and lounge with us.""Chance would do best in a quiet home with a secure fenced backyard. He would definitely love having another dog to play with, and help him learn the household routine. He would love to hang out in his home and yard with his people. We are working at introducing him to new experiences--such as the wooded hike we did yesterday. He loved it --this is something we wouldn't have been able to do with him a few weeks ago but over time he is trusting us more and he was able to embrace the experience. His family will need to show him patience and go slowly with him so he builds trust and confidence."Copy/Paste the following link to your browser to view more photos/videos of me: https://bit.ly/3xr5t88APPOINTMENT TYPE: I am in a foster home so fill out an application to meet me!Current Special - Dogs over 6 months are only $25 to adopt!
ABOUT ME: Hi I'm Elliot! I came to the SPCA of Texas through a hoarding case but now I am starting to realize that some people are actually super fun to be around! I've learned so much while being in my foster home, like how to go potty outside and how to play with other dogs! I think I could be someone's perfect little buddy if they give me the love and patience I need to open up!DREAM HOME: I would thrive in a home with a yard and other confident dogs to show me the ropes. I also would do best without any young kids around as they can be scary. FOSTER TESTIMONIAL: "He's improved so much and has built a lot of confidence. I'll call him to come inside and he'll listen. He also enjoys treats and his chew toys. He doesn't really play with toys though but he'll play with one of my dogs. He will also go to the living room to lay down or hang out without me being there so he's also gained some independence"SPECIAL NOTE: I am available for Foster-To-Adopt so the SPCA can support my transition into my forever home!APPOINTMENT TYPE: I am in a foster home so please fill out an application to meet me!
