VCA Animal Hospital Companies Pet Flix Film Festival 2009
Presented by Hill's Science Diet benefiting the SPCA of Texas

Pet Flix Film Festival 2009 premiered Sunday, June 7 at the historic Granada Theater in Dallas. More than 250 people were in attendance to enjoy films ranging from music videos to mysteries.

This year’s winners are:

• Grand Prize Winner, Paul Klusman - An Engineer's Guide to Cats;
• Best Long Tail Winners, Justin & Shel Rasch - Gerald's Last Day;
• Best Short Tail Winner, Wendy Woody - Spay & Neuter.

The SPCA would like to thank Rick O'Bryan from Mix 102.9 for hosting the event and the judges--Gary Cogill from WFAA-TV, Larry Powell from Urban Animal and http://www.readlarrypowell.com/, Martha Powell from the World Advisory Council and James Bias, President of the SPCA of Texas--for lending their time to judge the films and pick the winners.
