Our goal and mission at the SPCA of Texas is to provide every animal exceptional care and a loving home. We hope you’ll visit our adoptable pets online and then visit them in person at one of our locations. Our staff is ready to help you make a love match. We’re ready to help you find the pet of your dreams!

Once you’ve found the pet you’re ready to adopt, please leave the pet in their enclosure or kennel and bring the paperwork matching their name and animal number to an adoption specialist in a purple shirt. The adoption specialist will take you to an adoption consultant to complete the adoption.

The adoption process will take approximately 30 minutes and you will need a government-issued ID to complete the adoption. The adoption consultant will then take you through the adoption process by gathering all necessary information and counseling you on all information you’ll need to make a great start with your new pet.

Once you’ve signed the adoption papers, the cashier will finalize the adoption and you and your new pet will be ready to go home.
