Education

Designed for children in kindergarten through sixth grade our PetEd program employs animals (when available) as “teacher’s aides” to offer creative lessons in English, Geography, History, and Math, as well as pet responsibility, bite prevention and the 10 Acts of Kindness.

Let the SPCA teach your class!

Do you teach at a school in Collin or Dallas County? Contact the SPCA of Texas today about having an SPCA of Texas education staff member visit your class to give a lesson on some of the topics listed above. It's a fun, interactive way to teach your kids about animals.

Setup your classroom's animal lesson by calling Michelle Patterson at 214-461-1811 or complete an online information request form and someone from the SPCA of Texas will contact you.
